Torrie was among wrestling's best performers. Wilson made waves in the fields of potato, wheat and corn that Boise, Idaho is known for. A budding fitness model during the latter half of 1990s Wilson's entrance into sports-entertainment began with an appearance backstage at WCW with her then-boyfriend. Wilson ended up accompanying Scott Steiner to the ring and was working in the ring for close to a decade in the years following. Wilson managed David Flair and The Filthy animals, along with Billy Kidman. She also participated in a few matches with WCW. Wilson was a part of WWE after the purchase of WCW in the spring of 2001. The combination of her sportsmanship and love for entertainment meant that Wilson was a great choice for WWE in a period when WWE was in the most activity. Wilson was an integral figure for WCW in the invasion of WWE because of her relationship with Stacy Kibler (her partner and sometimes adversaries). Wilson became part of the WWE women's division shortly after the invasion by WCW. She was a rival to Keibler Sable Melina. In fact, Dawn Marie, who was an egregious foe of her family, had to be defeated.
