Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best recognized for her role as House in Fox's the medical thriller House. With a strict Jewish childhood, Lisa Edelstein moved from Wayne in the state of Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of Arts. The school was heavily involved in the nightlife scene in New York City, and was able to be recognized by the media. In the meantime she became more aware of AIDS' devastating effects. Eventually she used her training as well her fame to write and compose an original musical entitled Positive Me and also starred in it. The first time she was hired, she got her first position at MTV as host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After Awake on The Wild Side stopped airing, she started acting in movies and television, first with brief role. Gradually, her career in acting was growing.
